Child car seats, organ information access expanded in N.C. RALEIGH, N.C. - More North Carolina children have to be buckled up in safety seats, while more families will be told about their loved one's final wishes in legislation that goes into place Saturday.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Parents are having a hard time finding child-restraint seats since a tougher state law governing the seats took effect Saturday. More than a dozen stores in Charlotte, Kannapolis and Mooresville were out Tuesday, including a Wal-Mart in Gastonia that had sold 71 that day.
